His goal is to ensure every patient feels heard and cared for, especially when navigating complex and emotional decisions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With over a decade of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Purcell\u2019s approach is rooted in empathy and a strong commitment to patient wellbeing.<br \/>\nBorn and raised on the Gold Coast, he completed both medical and science degrees at the University of Queensland, majoring in Anatomy, before building a diverse clinical career across several of Australia\u2019s leading women\u2019s hospitals.<br \/>\nDr Purcell has strong skills in advanced laparoscopy, endometriosis surgery and hysteroscopic surgery. He also played a significant role in training and supervising medical students, facilitating obstetrics and gynecology exams, and publishing research in the ANZJOG, focused on endometriosis and preeclampsia.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Purcell has a particular interest in managing pelvic pain and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and is committed to helping patients understand their fertility health so they can make informed, confident decisions.
