She is passionate about providing the highest standard of care for her patients from fertility treatment to pregnancy and birth.<\/p>\n<p>Dedicated to providing individualised patient treatment that exceeds expectations, Dr Tan cares for patients with a wide range of fertility needs including the LGBTQ+ community and single women. Her interests include the management of fertility issues and pregnancy in women with pre-existing medical conditions, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and recurrent miscarriage.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, she graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She underwent specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and completed a further two years of advanced training in high-risk obstetrics, fertility ultrasound and gynaecology at the Royal Women\u2019s Hospital in Parkville. She completed her post-graduate Masters of Reproductive Health degree through the University of New South Wales in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tan consults at Northpark Private Hospital in Bundoora and the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. She has a public hospital appointment at the Mercy Hospital and is actively involved in mentoring and training of junior doctors.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tan is committed to exceptional patient care as she strives to give people the best chance of having a child. She believes every patient is different and requires individualised management.<\/p>\n<p>As a doctor, Dr Tan has a unique perspective coming from a multicultural background.
