Dr Eleanor Egan is a warm and dedicated fertility specialist who supports you through every step of your journey—from your first consultation right through to delivery. Her holistic, compassionate approach ensures that the care you receive is guided by both expertise and empathy.
She provides attentive and individualised care across IVF and fertility treatment, blending medical skill with a genuine focus on helping you feel understood and empowered as you pursue your parenthood goals.
Dr Egan completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2005 and went on to train as an obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. In 2014, she undertook a fertility and IVF fellowship in the Reproductive Services Unit and earned her Master of Reproductive Medicine (with Excellence). From 2014 to 2021, she ran a thriving private obstetric and fertility practice before relocating to Queensland to be closer to family and joining the City Fertility and Rainbow Fertility teams in Newstead.
Dr Egan is proud to offer care that spans the full fertility continuum. Her interests include managing recurrent miscarriage, PCOS, advanced maternal age, fertility preservation (including egg freezing), genetic testing, male infertility, laparoscopic surgery, and donor services. She is also committed to inclusive fertility care, welcoming single women and LGBTQ+ families through all available pathways—including donor and partner IVF.
For added convenience, she provides support into early pregnancy to bridge care between fertility treatment and obstetric care.
