Dr Tasveer Singh is a compassionate and experienced fertility specialist, obstetrician, and gynaecologist who works closely with you to provide individualised care every step of the way. You’ll feel supported, heard, and confident, with treatment options shaped to your own needs.

He works primarily in IVF and fertility care, obstetrics, and gynaecology.

With over 19 years of clinical experience, Dr Singh’s training began in Fiji. He advanced his expertise through FRANZCOG core training at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals in Sydney, and further refined his skills during advanced training in Queensland at Caboolture Hospital. He is experienced in managing high-risk pregnancies including those affected by pre-existing medical conditions, twin pregnancies, gestational diabetes, and pre-eclampsia.

In addition to his obstetric practice, Dr Singh provides comprehensive gynaecological care. This includes addressing issues such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, vaginal prolapse, and urinary incontinence, as well as offering surgical care via laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

He offers appointments at City Fertility’s Tugun (John Flynn Hospital) clinic, after-hours, and via telehealth for added convenience.

Q&A with
Dr Tasveer Singh

BOOK APPOINTMENT
1. What shaped your path into fertility and IVF care?

Dr Singh: “ I have had friends and relatives back home who struggled with infertility and in Fiji we had limited scope to help them. The first time I came to Australia, as an elective placement in medical school, I went to a IVF clinic and was blown away by the technology and success. Helping individuals and couples navigate the fertility journey, especially when we have success, has been extremely fulfilling.”

2. What kinds of fertility and IVF services do you offer?

Dr Singh: “I offer personalised fertility care and planning, ovulation induction, IUI, IVF including procedures (Egg pick up and Embryo transfers) and continuity through obstetrics and gynaecology care to support each patient holistically.”

3. What patient groups benefit most from your care style?

Dr Singh: “I have a lot of patients with PCOS who find success with monitored ovulation induction using Letrozole or FSH injections. As a LBGQIA+ ally, I support many same sex couples through their journey via donor sperm, donor eggs and surrogacy. I enjoy high-risk obstetrics, twins, pre-eclampsia, GDM, as well as supporting women after birth trauma or with complex birth preferences like VBAC or vaginal breech delivery.”

4. How do surgical treatments fit into your fertility care?

Dr Singh: “Not every Fertility patient needs surgery. However, sometimes we need to optimise the pelvis and organs to improve outcomes. I offer investigation and treatment of the causes of infertility (tubal dye studies, excision of endometriosis, normalising anatomy with scar tissue removal, ovarian drilling for PCOS) by utilising minimally invasive procedures: diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, helping restore reproductive health with minimal recovery time. For gynae patients who have completed their family and need a hysterectomy I am able to offer this through vaginal, laparoscopic and abdominal approaches. I also offer treatment for pelvic organ prolapse.

5. How would you describe your consulting and care approach?

Dr Singh: “My style is holistic, compassionate, and women/ couple centred, I value open communication and strive to support patients emotionally and physically at every stage. I keep my appointments long and so we’re not rushed and value in providing education and understanding of the process to the patients”

6. What makes your clinics accessible and convenient for patients?

Dr Singh: “My Tugun clinic offers flexible appointment times, including telehealth and weekend options, ensuring access and support fits around patients’ lives. From Bundall I can offer face to face and Telehealth sessions”
