Testing is recommended after 12 months of trying to conceive (or six months if you’re over 35), but earlier assessment can be helpful if you have irregular cycles or known health conditions like endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS.

Fertility testing looks at key factors that affect fertility, such as hormone levels, ovarian function, menstrual health, pelvic anatomy, and sperm quality and quantity. Common assessments include blood tests, ultrasound imaging, ovarian reserve tests like AMH and antral follicle count, and semen analysis.
