A/Prof Yanhe Liu began his career as an Embryologist in 2002. He completed his embryology training with a master’s degree in Clinical Embryology at Monash University followed by a PhD in time-lapse embryo selection.
Over the course of his career, he has managed IVF laboratories in a variety of settings, both interstate and internationally. Yanhe has held adjunct associate professor appointments with the University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University and Bond University; and served as a Board Director of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ). In addition, he is an active member of the Embryology Special Interest Group of the Asian Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE), contributing to education and training initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.
As an active researcher in assisted reproductive technology, A/Prof Liu has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, with a research focus on improving IVF success rates through innovative technologies. He is also frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences, and participate in peer-review processes for top scientific journals including The Lancet, Nature Communications, etc.
Yanhe currently serves as an Associate Editor for Human Reproduction Open and is a former Associate Editor for Human Reproduction.
