Dr John Negri is a trusted and highly experienced obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist based in East Melbourne. With over 30 years of experience, he provides personalised care across every stage of a woman’s reproductive journey — from fertility planning to pregnancy and delivery.

Dr Negri completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1986, gained his specialist qualifications (FRANZCOG) in 2002, and holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales. His long-standing commitment to women’s health is reflected in his calm, thorough, and supportive approach to care.

He consults at East Melbourne Obstetrics & Gynaecology (EMOG), where he works closely with midwife Prue Hartley to provide seamless, team-based support. He also holds a public hospital position at the Royal Women’s Hospital, contributing to the emergency gynaecology service and chronic menstrual disorders unit.
