Dr Jennifer Pontré is a dedicated and compassionate fertility specialist and gynaecologist, with an interest in endometriosis and complex laparoscopic surgery.
She received her medical degree through the University of Western Australia with Honours, and subsequently undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through King Edward Memorial Hospital in Western Australia.
Following receipt of her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Pontré undertook a prestigious two year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery through the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society. She then pursued additional training overseas, completing a fellowship year in Dublin, Ireland. During this time, she received her Masters in Reproductive Medicine through the University of New South Wales, conferred with Excellence.
In 2020 she was the recipient of a Winston Churchill Fellowship for the study of endometriosis.
Dr Pontré’s special interests include endometriosis, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, fibroids, pelvic pain and complex laparoscopic surgery. She currently holds a specialist position on the Endoscopy Unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where she is active in teaching, training and research. In addition to her fertility practice Dr Pontré offers private gynaecological services at Hollywood Private Hospital.
