Dr Andy Stamatiou is a senior obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist based at the City Fertility Newstead clinic in Brisbane. He also holds clinical affiliations with Sunnybank Private Hospital. He graduated with an MBBS from the University of Queensland in 1990, began specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2001, and was awarded Fellowship (FRANZCOG) in 2009. With more than three decades of experience, Dr Stamatiou transitioned to private practice in 2010 and offers continuity of care across fertility, gynaecology, and obstetrics, while also consulting at Rainbow Fertility in Newstead and North Lakes.
His clinical focus includes IVF and fertility care, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for ovarian and uterine support, testicular sperm aspiration (TESA), and advanced minimally invasive surgery, including robotic laparoscopy, for conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse, and incontinence.
