It gives me great pleasure to inform you that City Fertility entered a partnership with a consortium comprising Korean healthcare operator CHA Healthcare Co. Ltd (CHC), a world leader in women’s health, based in Seoul, South Korea, and the Singapore Medical Group (SMG).
The partnership is part of our desire to further optimise best practice in patient care.
I am excited that together with CHA, we will continue to grow in Australia with a strong focus on excellence in reproductive medicine and research.
Through working with CHA/SMG, we will gain access to their globally renowned medical, operational, and research and development expertise.
I am pleased about the opportunity to bring their world-class best practices and expertise to further enhance City Fertility’s laboratories, research and clinical operations. I would like to highlight that the founder of CHC, Dr Kwang Yul Cha, is known as one of the three top IVF doctors in the world and is a renowned international speaker. He has a prestigious award named after him – the Dr Kwang Yul Cha Award, which is bestowed annually for a significant contribution to the field of reproductive medicine.
CHA Fertility is known for a number of world-first achievements, including in 1998 when CHA became the first in the world to develop the vitrification method of oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), the now standard method for freezing eggs.
CHA has a depth of expertise in fertility and women’s health, as well as an extensive track record in operating large-scale hospitals and clinics abroad, and we look forward to working with them.
