Who are the Central Egg Bank donors?

The Central Egg Bank team recruits and screens donors from Ukraine.

• Egg donors between the ages of 21 and 30
• All donors undergo a rigorous physical health check & infectious screening to ensure they are healthy and eligible to donate.
• Psychological assessment and implications counselling by an ANZICA-qualified mental health professional is mandatory.
• All donors have completed extended genetic carrier screening.
• Altruistic donors, compensation provided for reasonable expenses only, including childcare, travel costs and meals
• ‘ID Release’ means any offspring has the right to apply for identifying information of their donor in accordance with Australian State Legislation.
• Family limits are strictly monitored per state, according to Australian legislation.
