Dr Roger Perkins is an experienced Gynaecologist and Fertility doctor with special interests in microsurgical reversal of male and female sterilisation, microsurgical testicular sperm retrieval, and advanced endoscopic surgery. He provides fertility preserving surgery to treat endometriosis and fibroids.
Dr Perkins is dedicated to helping you through every step of your fertility journey with compassion and expertise. He offers personalised treatment plans designed around your individual circumstances, with the aim of giving you the best chance of fulfilling your dream of parenthood. His extensive experience combined with an empathetic and professional approach assures his patients that he is well-equipped to guide and support his patients through their fertility journey.
Dr Perkins has MBBS and BSc degrees, as well as the qualifications FRCOG and FRANZCOG, and DA. He is proud to offer all aspects of fertility treatment, with special expertise in microsurgical procedures (reversal of male and female sterilisation, and microsurgical testicular sperm retrieval), and advanced endoscopic gynaecological surgery.
He is a consultant at King Edward Memorial Hospital’s Reproductive Medicine Clinic, and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia.

Dr Perkins: “Mastering microsurgical vasectomy and tubal reversal techniques enables me to help people conceive naturally, without IVF, when circumstances change.” I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to advance my skills in infertility, male infertility and microsurgery with the help of some wonderful mentors over the years.
Dr Perkins: “My microsurgical work, whether vasectomy reversal or testicular sperm retrieval, allows men with azoospermia or previous vasectomy to reclaim options for biological fatherhood.”
Dr Perkins: “I provide comprehensive fertility services including IVF, fertility preservation (egg and sperm freezing), advanced laparoscopic surgery, and male infertility diagnosis and treatment.”
Dr Perkins: “I consult at King Edward Memorial Hospital’s Reproductive Medicine Clinic and serve as a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia. I also supervise RANZCOG trainees.”
Dr Perkins: “Besides the microsurgical operations, I regularly treat endometriosis and fibroids, using minimally invasive surgery, often enhancing fertility outcomes in the process.”
