Dr Rozeena Musa is a passionate and caring fertility specialist, obstetrician, and laparoscopic surgeon who is deeply committed to helping you overcome challenges on your path to parenthood. Dr Musa’s journey began with her earning her MBChB at Otago Medical School in 1996. She trained as a senior registrar in gynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgery at Auckland Hospital, followed by her Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Her experience continued with consultant and staff specialist roles at Auckland Hospital and Mater Hospital in South Brisbane.
She is known for her warm, affable nature, taking the time to listen and tailor treatment plans that suit your individual needs, whether they are behavioural, medical, or surgical. After a sensitive and thorough assessment, she’ll walk you through your options in a clear, supportive way.
Continuously growing her professional insight, Dr Musa presents seminars and workshops to family doctors and emergency practitioners. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and serves on their Board of Examiners.
As a mother of two, Dr Musa brings a heartfelt understanding to her work, aware of the joy that motherhood brings and committed to supporting others in experiencing it too. Dr Musa: “I’m passionate about guiding patients through infertility diagnosis and treatment, from evaluations to IVF or IUI, delivered with empathy and evidence-based support.”
Dr Musa: “I lead comprehensive infertility workups, including semen analysis, ovarian assessment, and diagnostic laparoscopy, followed by tailored interventions like ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI, and donor programs via City Fertility.”
Dr Musa: “As a trained laparoscopic surgeon, I treat conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse, and pelvic pain, often restoring fertility through minimally invasive procedures.”
Dr Musa: “I manage abnormal Pap smears, menstrual disorders, colposcopy, PCOS, menopausal symptoms, urinary incontinence, and prolapse care, integrating routine women’s health with fertility pathways.”
Dr Musa: “I welcome preconception and miscarriage follow up consultations, aiming to uncover underlying causes and offer investigative and treatment plans accordingly.”
